Immunify.Life: August 2022 Monthly Recap
The Immunify.Life ecosystem was rife with activities in the month of August. We embarked on several developments, including a range of community activities, partnerships, and real-world projects that will help improve the efficacy of healthcare services in developing nations.

Immunify.Life Treasury Development Update
Last month, we mentioned that we have begun developing a treasury system for Immunify.Life that will ease the process of obtaining IMM tokens and investing in the platform. The development of this treasury is still ongoing. We have completed testing and are now making some final adjustments. Soon, we will spin up production and officially launch the treasury for community use.
Immunify.Life Community Activities: Biweekly Quiz & AMA
We embarked on different community activities in August. One of these programs was our biweekly quiz competition which tests your knowledge of the Immunify.Life ecosystem, the healthcare space’s problems, and solutions we provide. Acing these quizzes come with the chance to win various prizes like 100 $IMM Tokens, 50 $IMM Tokens, and 25 $IMM Tokens.

Immunify.Life also organized an AMA roundtable with DCI. We used this event to introduce the community to Immunify.Life CEO Sam Bassily. Sam shared his thoughts on Immunify.Life’s origins, impact on the healthcare industry, and the project’s long-term goals. He also revealed some ideas behind the concept of the IMM tokens and how Immunify.Life will be able to attract and onboard even non-crypto users.

MMUST and Immunify-Life Launch HIV & AIDS Project in Kenya
The Immunify.Life teams have worked so hard to draw up actionable programs to help end the shortage of commodities at hospitals, improving treatment outcomes. As you know, we have already developed an HIV clinical platform in Kenya.
We are expanding on this with a partnership with MMUST, a leading research and educational center for science and technology. The partnership focuses on using blockchain technology to improve medical results for patients with suspected treatment failure. The data acquired from this research will help Immunify.Life identify the most effective way to deploy our app across the country.
We are close to finishing up the token integration for incentivization; this is one of the essential utilities of the IMM token and lays the foundation for other services Immunify.Life provides.
Zambia COVID: In Development
With over 600 million cases of COVID and 6.5 million deaths worldwide, there has never been a greater need for vaccination. Many African countries lag in vaccination rates compared to other first-world nations. Even more resistant strains of COVID might emerge with these low vaccination rates.
Immunify.Life is looking to help improve this situation in many parts of Africa by deploying our COVID vaccination module. We are starting this program in Zambia, and we’ll begin by collecting vital information like the patients’ ID, vaccination batch number, and expiry date. This information will help us produce a vaccination certificate.
We can build an incentive program around a certificate and encourage more people to get the vaccine. We are also working with one of the biggest mining corporations in Zambia; we’ll help them create an electronic database for tracking the health status of their workers. These developments are still in the works; we will release more concrete details about our work in Zambia, so stay tuned.
Partnership with RealFi Platform, Empowa
We also completed a partnership with another Cardano-powered platform, Empowa. Both platforms have a shared interest in the development of low-income African countries. Empowa is using DeFi to expand the availability of affordable housing (RealFi) while Immunify.Life is focused on healthcare sustainability. Both platforms will collaborate and share marketing strategies that will produce mutual benefits and help expand our reach. Immunify and Empowa are both built on the Cardano blockchain.
Meme Competition Complete
Last month, we announced the Meme competition, a chance for the community to show their creativity and get rewarded for their efforts. The competition was an outstanding success. We received over XXX submissions and tons of engagement. With that, we are proud to announce the successful completion of the meme competition. We want to thank everyone that participated and contributed to the success of this event.
