Immunify.Life: September 2022 Monthly Recap
September just went by, the Immunify.Life team has been occupied with various in-house projects that will prepare us to achieve key aspects of our roadmap goals. For instance, we completed a $2 million fundraising event, launched the groundbreaking blockchain-powered HIV treatment study, and we are pushing towards the completion of the Immunify treasury.

HIV Study Launch
Last month, we announced a partnership with Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Kenya-based research and educational center. That partnership has started bearing fruits as we have launched a blockchain-based research study for HIV.

The HIV/AIDS research study seeks to improve medical compliance and better understand patient behavior and the underlying cause of treatment outcomes. The ideas gleaned from this project will inform Immunify.Life’s development decisions regarding our strategic direction for other HIV-related projects in Kenya.
Immunify.Life Successfully Closes Initial Fundraising
We completed our initial fundraising investment round with a whopping $2 million! This accomplishment was a significant milestone for us and will set the tone for future endeavors. Contributions poured in from various blue chip VCs within the blockchain and digital transformation spaces.
The successful completion of our fundraising event has provided Immunify.Life with the resources needed to pursue new projects and expand on existing ones, like the HIV research study and clinic in Kenya or our COVID initiative in Zambia.
Immunify.Life September Contest Completed
We completed the Immunify.Life contest for September, giving the community a chance to win from a prize pool of 350 $IMM tokens. All you had to do was describe the Immunify.Life ecosystem, unique value proposition, or competitive advantage in one tweet! We want to thank all participants for their contribution, and we look forward to congratulating the winners of the October Contest.
Treasury: Final Integrations
A while back, we mentioned we have started building a treasury system for Immunify.Life which will help facilitate the acquisition of IMM tokens and investment on the platform. Testing of the treasury’s functionalities is complete, and we are now working on the final integrations before launching it to the public.
COVID App: Final Testing
Our COVID initiative in Zambia has led to the development of an app focused on incentivizing patients to comply with medical instructions and treatment. This blockchain-powered application
will help collect vital information like the patient’s name, the batch number of the immunization, the expiring date, etc.
Immunify.Life’s technology and platform present efficient data capture mechanisms that are interoperable with traditional systems. This feature makes the Immunify.Life solution a valuable tool for regions with insufficient data management structures. The COVID app was crafted with this purpose in mind and is currently in the final stages of testing and will soon be released for public use.
We have already started a COVID research study in Zambia, which will investigate/evaluate:
- The effectiveness of IMM token rewards on COVID-19 vaccination patients
- The Immunify COVID platform as a framework to capture COVID-19 vaccination data on a 2 dose regime.
- The use of the Immunify Patient App in communicating information to patients
The results of this research will help guide the development and testing of the COVID application.
Immunify in October: What to expect?
We have a ton planned out for October; it could be our BIGGEST month thus far! Some major partnerships are in the works alongside other huge announcements regarding the Immunify.Life ecosystem.
